A complete redesign of the BRAW Chocolate website, focused on improving user experience, streamlining online shopping, and showcasing the brand’s unique products through modern and user friendly design.

Research

During the research phase, I conducted a comprehensive analysis of both user needs and the current website’s shortcomings.

This included gathering and evaluating customer feedback from Google and Facebook reviews, analyzing social media engagement, and running a user survey to understand shopping behaviors and preferences.

I also benchmarked direct competitors, identifying recurring features such as search functionality, product filters, reviews, and user-friendly navigation.

Additionally, I developed detailed user personas and journey maps to ensure all design decisions would be grounded in real user expectations and pain points

Vision

The vision for this project is to transform the Braw Chocolate & Bakery website into a modern, user-centric platform that streamlines direct online sales and elevates the overall customer experience.

The goal is to make the site not only a seamless e-commerce destination but also an engaging online catalogue that showcases the brand’s unique offerings.

By focusing on usability, accessibility, and compelling content, the project aims to increase customer engagement, simplify the ordering process, and foster long-term loyalty

The Affinity suite was used as the primary software for the design of this project, alongside Figma and Canva.

Design

The planned design centers on a complete website redesign, prioritizing intuitive navigation, clear product displays, and integrated e-commerce features.

Key improvements will include a search bar, expanded categories, new marketing materials, enhanced product pages with reviews, and a simplified checkout process.

Additional features, such as a visible account section, newsletter sign up, and a contact form, will be incorporated to improve user interaction and retention.

The design will be informed by user personas and journey mapping, ensuring that every element addresses real user needs and supports the project's business objectives

Figma Board Design

This Figma board brings together all design work for the BRAW Chocolate project, including user flows, wireframes, and high fidelity prototypes.

It features every key page from the homepage and product listings to the checkout along with updated layouts and UI components.

This wireframe (also found on page two) reflects revisions and improvements made to the initial design, showcasing refined layout, structure, and user flow elements that align with the project's evolving vision.

This high prototype embodies the core vision for the project, translating strategic goals into an interactive, user centered experience.

It demonstrates the intended structure, navigation, and visual style of the final website, allowing stakeholders to explore the full user journey and understand how features and content will come together.

By allowing real interactions and flows, the prototype provides a preview of the envisioned platform, ensuring alignment between design intent and project objectives before development begins.
